PINE CONE CREEK RANCH
AT CUSTER'S CAMP
Pine Cone Creek Cabin is a real log cabin that sits on the very land that George Custer and his Black Hills expedition camped on their way from Fort Lincoln, ND in July of 1874. It's made up of the original Customer camp cabin, to which a larger section was in 1998.
The Custer Camp sits in its own little pasture in the Nemo valley nestled between two peaks. Here camped 1200 troops, over 1000 horses, 110 wagons, 700 mules and 300 cattle. This place is alive with Black Hill's history.
Surrounded by national forest, you'll enjoy the peace of the pines, the whisper of the aspens, and the elegance of the majestic spruce trees in the heart of the Black Hills.
Pine Cone Creek Cabin is located a short drive from downtown Deadwood, Custer State Park, Pactola Lake, Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Hill City, and dozens of other attractions and activities.
Pine Cone Creek Cabin features a full kitchen, central heat and air, hot and cold running water, a refrigerator, range, oven, microwave, air fryer, coffee pot and a blender.
There are 4 bedrooms and 2 baths.
There is a large private master bedroom in the loft with a view and private deck, a king-size bed, private bath and walk-in shower.
On the historic side of the cabin, there is an adorable loft bedroom with a queen bed, a first-floor bedroom with a queen bed, and bunk room with twin bunk beds. Plus, there's a den/lounging area.
There's also a sleeper sofa.
There is dining space inside and outside, a bbq grill.
The living area features plenty of seating, a large stone, wood-burning fireplace, with an 80" TV above it (not shown in pics), streaming for TV, and super-fast Starlink wifi thanks to our friend, Elon Musk, so you can stay connected.
